Man United’s goal-kicking woes could cost them the Europa League title

Man United are in trouble.

They are on the verge of losing the Europa league, and the club could go down to the wire in the final.

It has been a dreadful season for Manchester United.

In just their second season, they have suffered a miserable start to the season, and now they are on course to lose the competition.

The United boss, Louis van Gaal, has been sacked, and his replacement, Jurgen Klopp, has lost his job as well.

So, who is going to do the job for United now?

It is not just the manager who has failed this season, with Louis van Rooyen losing his job too, with his new boss also being sacked.

It is the squad as well, as there is a big gap between the likes of Anthony Martial, Phil Jones, Ashley Young, Matteo Darmian and Paul Pogba, who has struggled to make an impact since returning to Old Trafford.

United’s attacking players have also struggled, with Anthony Martial missing out on the Champions League for the second time in his career, and Phil Jones having just a single appearance this season.

It is a different story for young players.

Martial is the only one to make a Champions League appearance, and has been playing well, but his performances have not translated into the goalscoring category.

Another problem United have has has been in possession of, with Jose Mourinho’s side having the highest possession in the league, with 17.8 per cent.

However, this is only in terms of shots and shots on target, not the goals they have created.

United are currently in ninth position in the table, and they have conceded just two goals in their last four league games.

However they are still in danger of falling out of the Champions league, as they sit on just 17 points from 10 matches, with just one win and three draws.

The future of Manchester United is in doubt, and it is not only the manager, who are looking at changes.

The Portuguese has been linked with a number of jobs across Europe, with Bayern Munich, Manchester City and Real Madrid all said to be interested in the Portuguese, who had a fantastic World Cup campaign.

However, it seems the Portuguese is ready to leave Old Trafford at the end of the season.

According to the Express, United are already considering selling Kevin De Bruyne and Anthony Martial to Bayern Munich in the summer.

De Bruyne was a surprise inclusion for United in the World Cup squad, and he has scored three goals in two matches so far this season for the Red Devils.

The Belgian has been one of the most consistent goalscorers in the Premier League, with seven goals and seven assists in 10 games this season to show for it.

Anthony Martial has not scored a Premier League goal since March 1, but has been the subject of interest from Manchester City, who have a lot of money to spend on him.

The Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola, has said Martial is his preferred signing for the summer, but there has been no movement on that front.

United are still a top side in the Barclays Premier League and could yet make a big splash, especially with Manchester City likely to offer a lot to Martial.
